Sponsors and Partners WHAT: DC will play host to the 37th Annual Gay Softball World Series (GSWS) in 2013. The GSWS is the world’s largest annual LGTB sporting event that brings together more than 4,000 participants and fans from 37 leagues in North America.
WHEN: The World Series takes place from August 26 to August 31, 2013.
WHY: Hosting the World Series is another chapter in DC's long and rich LGBT sports community and an opportunity to showcase our amazing city. An event of this size and scope, which includes opening and closing ceremonies, numerous social events and over 1,200 softball games over 6 days, is only possible with your support. In addition, through the Annual Talent Show and other events, the World Series fundraises for local and national charities.
